  • Even if your plan covers some costs, your co-pay may still be higher than the total cost of other practitioners outside of MGS’s network.

It’s crucial to understand that MGS’s team of practitioners offers pricing options that are affordable and similar to many insurance co-pays. It’s worth noting that while the session cost may be $400, insurance companies typically reimburse providers at a rate significantly lower than the original price, often around 40% or less.

All practitioners are licensed by their relevant licensing board upon completing requisite education, exams, training, and practice. This means that when you engage with a licensed therapist online, they adhere to mandated reporting and confidentiality requirements stipulated by their governing board and state laws, similar to in-person therapy.

Typically, therapists maintain confidentiality regarding your discussions, but there are specific exceptions. For instance, if you pose a serious threat to yourself or an identifiable individual, the therapist is obligated to report this to the appropriate authorities. Prior to commencing therapy, it’s advisable to address any concerns or questions about your therapist’s legal obligations to confidentiality.
